The Proyecto Sarmiento, directed by Ernesto Romano and formed by the Quiroga Sarmiento Library and the Grupo de Estudios Sarmientinos, aims, at almost two hundred years from de birth of the Great Man, to realize the first complete and comented edition of his works. The project consists in the publication in Internet for its free use of the mentioned writings, that will be afterwars be donated to the National State of Argentina for its paper edition, in order to make easier the execution of the National Law Nº 25.159. Includes also the donation of the work to the Gutenberg Project, the Biblioteca Virtual Cervantes and the Biblioteca del Bicentenario from National Library of Argentina, in order to spread it in a planetary scale.

The Gutenberg Project was founded by Michael Hart, who started the creation of eBooks in 1971 in a lab of Illinois University, in the United States, 25 years before the great revolution of the Cyberspace. Gutenberg Project aims to supply information, books or any other material avaiable to the general public, in order to be opened and read by the majoritiy of computers, programs and people, to be used, quoted and revised. It should be mentioned that it´s a totally free project and counts with more than 10 thousand titles available in many languajes.

The Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes (BVMC), inaugurated en July of 1999, is a wide project of digital editions of the bibliographical, documental and critical spanish and hispanoamerican patrimony, that pretends to potenciate the universal expansion of the hispanical cultures through the use and aplication of the most advanced tecnological medias. The Library is a documental and bibliographical fund and by the utilization of the new tecnologies, it is offered freely to the disposition of the Internet users with the objective of spreading the works and documents most distinguished of the mentioned culture.
